Standard folders are the most flexible way to organise your cards in Dex. Unlike Smart Folders that auto-populate based on rules, Standard Folders let you hand pick exactly which cards belong. They're perfect for wishlists, trade lists, favourite cards, or any custom grouping you can think of.
Creating a Standard Folder
- Navigate to the Folders tab.
- Tap the + button.
- Select Standard Folder.
- Give your folder a name, pick a color, and choose an icon.
- Start adding cards from any expansion, search result, or card detail screen.
Customising Your Folder
Every Standard Folder can be personalised to match its purpose:
- Name: Give it a clear title like "Wishlist", "For Trade", or "Favourites".
- Color: Choose from 33 available colors to visually distinguish your folders.
- Icon: Pick from 90+ emoji options.
Folder Settings
Standard Folders come with a few optional settings you can toggle when creating or editing:
- Quantity Tracking: Track how many copies of each card you have in the folder. Useful for trade or sell lists where counts matter.
- Progress Tracking: See how close you are to completing your folder based on how many cards you've added versus your target.
- Variant Tracking: Choose which card variants the folder tracks (e.g. only master variants, or all variants including additional prints).
Privacy
By default, folders are public and visible on your profile. You can toggle a folder to private if you prefer to keep it hidden from other collectors.
Good to Know
- Each Standard Folder can hold up to 3,000 cards.
- You can add the same card to multiple folders. Adding a card to a folder doesn't affect your main collection.
Standard Folders are simple by design. Whether you're building a wishlist, organising cards for a trade, or just grouping your favourites, they give you full control over what goes in and how it's arranged.
