Missing Cards for Decks shows you every card that appears in your decks but is not yet in your collection. Instead of checking each deck one by one, this feature gathers all the gaps across your decks into a single view so you can see exactly what you still need.
This feature is currently available on iOS only.
How to View Missing Cards
- Navigate to the Folders tab
- Tap the More button (⋮) in the top right corner
- Select "Show Missing Cards" under the Decks section
- A list of all cards you still need across your decks will appear
Sharing vs Not Sharing Cards Between Decks
At the top of the screen, you can toggle between two modes:
- Not Sharing Cards Between Decks (default): Each deck is treated independently. If the same card is in two decks and you only own one copy, it still shows as missing for both.
- Sharing Cards Between Decks: All decks are treated as one combined pool. If you own enough copies of a card to cover one deck, it may not appear as missing for the others.
Use "Not Sharing" to see the full picture of what you need if you plan to keep all decks assembled at once. Use "Sharing" if you're okay moving cards between decks.
What You'll See
The screen displays your missing cards in a browsable grid with key stats at the top:
- Total number of missing cards
- Number of expansions those cards come from
- Estimated market value to complete your collection
You can search for specific cards using the search bar.
Reprints and Smart Matching
Dex is smart about reprints. If a card you need has been printed in multiple expansions and you own a copy from a different set, the system recognizes it and won't list that card as missing.
Good to Know
- This is a read only view. To add cards to your collection, use your main collection tools
- You can share the list using the share button in the top right corner
