Binder View in Dex

Dex does not support a binder-style visual layout yet, but this feature is planned for a future update.

Notion image

Right now, Dex does not include a binder-style grid or page-flip view for browsing your cards. This means you can’t currently:

  • View cards in a 9-pocket binder layout
  • Flip between “pages” of your collection
  • Browse sets in a grid that mimics physical binders

Dex focuses today on list-based and gallery-based views, which work well for searching, filtering, and tracking, but we know many collectors love the classic binder experience.

What’s Coming

A binder-style layout is something we’d love to support in the future. Before releasing it, we want to ensure it feels:

  • Smooth and fast
  • Authentic to real binder pages with slots for each variant
  • Flexible for different collection sizes
  • Helpful for viewing set progress visually

Our goal is to make a binder mode that isn’t just aesthetic, but genuinely useful for organization and browsing.

Until Then

Although binder view isn’t available yet, you can still make the most of:

  • List View for fast additions or removals
  • Grid View for browsing artwork
  • Folders & Smart Folders for organizing your collection
  • Variants & Completion Tracking for set progress

These tools help you explore and manage your collection effectively while binder view is in development.

Dex doesn’t offer a binder-style view today, but it is something planned for the future. We know how nostalgic and useful binder layouts can be, and we want to deliver a version that feels polished, familiar, and genuinely helpful.

For updates on this feature, keep an eye on our announcements or social channels.
