If you want to start fresh and remove every card from your collection, Dex provides a way to do so on every platform. The process differs slightly between Web/Android and iOS.
Deleting your collection is permanent and cannot be undone. Only your owned cards are removed. Folders, card notes, friends, and other data are not affected.
Web and Android
- Tap your profile picture to open the Account screen.
- Tap Troubleshooting.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Wipe Collection.
- A confirmation dialog will appear asking "Are you absolutely sure?" with a reminder that this action cannot be undone.
- Tap Yes, wipe everything to confirm.
All owned cards will be permanently removed from your device and your account.
iOS
iOS does not have a dedicated "Wipe Collection" button. Instead, you can use bulk selection to remove all cards:
- Open your Collection tab.
- Tap the ⋯ (more) button in the top right corner.
- Tap Select Cards to enter selection mode.
- Tap Select All in the top right corner to select every card.
- Tap the action button at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Tap Mark as Not Owned.
All selected cards will be marked as not owned and removed from your collection.
On iOS, there is no confirmation dialog for this action, so make sure you really want to remove all your cards before proceeding.
What Gets Deleted?
Only your owned card records are removed. This means:
- All cards you've marked as owned will be removed
- Your folders will not be deleted
- Your card notes will not be deleted
- Your friends and profile data will not be affected
- Your preferences and settings will not change
Can I Undo This?
No. Deleting your collection is permanent. There is no way to restore your cards after they have been removed. If you're unsure, consider exporting your collection first as a backup.
