We know, a new expansion is about to be released, you may already have early access to some cards, and you want to log them in Dex. We truly appreciate the enthusiasm, we really do. That said, there are some general rules regarding expansion availability:
- International expansions become available 1 day prior to their official release date
- Japanese and Chinese expansions become available on their official release date or a few days after
This isn’t because we want to impose a specific calendar or delay content intentionally. It simply reflects the average amount of time it takes for us to gain access to reliable data, process it, incorporate it into our services, and make it available to you.
On occasions where we are able to access that data earlier, rest assured we will release the expansion earlier as well.
For this reason, there’s usually no need to ask when a specific expansion will become available. By the time we know for sure, it will already be live in Dex.
