Trade helps you discover trade opportunities with your friends. Compare your collections side by side to see which cards each of you owns that the other needs, making it easy to plan trades around a specific expansion or folder.
How to Use Trade
- Open Trade from the app
- Pick a Goal: Choose an expansion or a personal folder you want to complete
- Choose a Friend: Select a specific friend to compare with, or choose "All Friends" to search across everyone on your friends list
- (Optional) Set a Scope: If you chose a specific friend, you can narrow results to one of their folders (for example, their trade folder)
- Tap "Search Now" to find trade opportunities
Understanding the Results
The results screen shows a side by side comparison split into two sections:
- You: Cards you own that your friend doesn't
- [Friend Name]: Cards your friend owns that you don't
Each section shows the number of tradeable cards and, when pricing data is available, the estimated total value.
If you selected "All Friends," the results rank your friends by how many trade opportunities they offer so you can find the best match.
Stack vs Split Variants
You can toggle between two comparison modes:
- Stack Variants: Compares cards as a whole, ignoring individual variants. If either of you owns any version of a card, it counts as owned.
- Split Variants: Breaks the comparison down to each individual variant. This may reveal additional trade opportunities at the variant level.
If the folder you're targeting has tracked variants, Split Variants is enabled automatically.
When only variant level differences exist, Trade will let you know so you can switch to Split Variants for more detailed results.
Filtering and Sorting
You can refine results using filters and sorting within the comparison view:
- Filters: Narrow by rarity, variant, regulation mark, and more
- Sort: Order results by name, artist, price, or card number
- Card State: Show all tradeable cards, only duplicates, or only duplicate variants
Sharing Your Trade Results
Found a great trade? Each side of the comparison has its own share button, so you can share your tradeable cards or your friend's tradeable cards as an image directly from the results screen.
Good to Know
- You need at least one accepted friend to use Trade
- Trade shows opportunities. It helps you discover what to trade, but the actual exchange happens between you and your friend outside the app
- Results update automatically as either collection changes
