Set Your Currency and Marketplaces – Dex

Dex allows you to customize your pricing experience by selecting your preferred currency and primary marketplaces for International, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese cards. These settings determine which prices are displayed prominently and how your collection's value is calculated.

What are Primary Marketplaces?

Primary marketplaces are the price sources you prioritize for each region (International, Japan, and China). Your selections will:

Appear at the top when viewing card details: The marketplaces you select will be displayed first, making it easier to see the prices most relevant to you.

Determine your collection's value: Dex uses the prices from your selected primary marketplaces to calculate the total value of your collection.

Be used for sorting by price: When you order cards by price, Dex will use the prices from your primary marketplaces.

How to Change Currency

Select your preferred currency to see all prices displayed in that currency throughout the app.

Choose your preferred Currency from the list

How to Change Primary Marketplaces

You can select different primary marketplaces for International, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese cards to match your collecting focus.

Select Preferences > Prices

Under Primary Marketplaces, you'll see sections for:

International: Choose your preferred marketplace for International cards

Japan: Choose your preferred marketplace for Japanese cards

China: Choose your preferred marketplace for Simplified Chinese cards

Select your preferred marketplace from the available options for each region

Android / Web

Scroll to Marketplaces

Choose from the available marketplace options for each region

💡 Your primary marketplace selections are independent for each region. You can choose different marketplaces for International, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese cards based on where you typically buy or sell cards from each region.
