Dex includes a fast and flexible search system that helps you find the cards you need with ease.
Context
Dex has two types of search: local and global.
- Local search only looks at what you are currently viewing. If you search inside an expansion, you will only get results from that expansion. If you search inside the Pokédex tab, you will only see Pokémon.
- Global search looks through the entire database. You can access it by opening the Search tab.
Search by…
You can search by:
- Name
- Artist
- Number
- Name and number together
For example, typing Kouki Saitou will show all cards illustrated by that artist.
If you want a specific card, you can mix part of its name with its number. For example, typing zard 4 will bring up Charizard number 4.
📱 Platform Availability: At the moment, searching by name and number together is only supported on iOS.
Summary
Search in Dex is built to be quick and simple. Use local search to stay within the context you are exploring. Use global search when you want to look across everything at once.
